Love Farm. Leave No Trace

Glastonbury festival has always been holsting alternative solutions to environmental concerns. Michael Eavis' family have farmed the land where the festival is nowadays being held since 1860 and looking after the fields and the hills has always been the main concern. Nowadays we hope to continue making Glastonbury Festival as green as possible, making restrictions on the site and encouraging attendees to support our projects.

What We Do

We are now holding big environmental campaign called 'Love Farm. Leave No Trace. The program is aimed on releasing the whole list of environmental issues and reducing our impact on the environment. We are currently creating new ways and technologies to make Glastonbury greener.

As a part of the program we have elaborated a Green Traveller project. The aim of the project is to encourage our visitors to become environmental friendly and get at least 40,000 people going to Glastonbury by public transport. You can find more information about green ways of getting to glasto in our Green Traveller Initiatives section!
